Description

The company builds software products for clients across embedded, IoT, SaaS, AI/ML, e-commerce, mobile and web. We are looking for a Software Team Leader to own the technical direction of a product team — setting architecture, raising engineering standards, and shipping. You will lead hands-on: writing production code, guiding a small team of engineers, and partnering directly with clients, including large enterprise and banking environments. This is a role for someone who leads by example and treats modern AI-assisted development as a core part of the craft. What You'll Do: Own the technical design and architecture of full stack applications, end to end. Lead a team of engineers — code reviews, mentoring, and raising delivery quality and velocity. Stay hands-on: write production JavaScript/TypeScript across the React and Node.js stack. Drive AI-first development practices (Claude Code, Cursor) across the team. Work closely with clients and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. Uphold engineering standards: testing, CI/CD, code quality, and delivery discipline. Must-Have Requirements: 7+ years as a software engineer, including senior-level work. 5+ years as a tech lead / team lead: code review, mentoring, and owning a team's delivery. Expert-level JavaScript and TypeScript. Expert-level React — hooks, component architecture, and state/data layers (TanStack Query, Redux, Zustand). Expert-level Node.js on the server side. Proven ownership of full stack architecture end to end — designing systems, not just implementing tickets. 1+ year hands-on with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) as part of daily work. Modern build tooling: Vite. Engineering standards in practice: automated testing, CI/CD, code quality gates. Fluent with Git, JIRA, and Jenkins. Professional-level English, plus strong interpersonal and client-facing communication skills. Nice to Have Additional programming languages and frameworks. API design and documentation tooling (Swagger, SwaggerHub, IBM API Connect). Experience working in large organizations, especially banking / financial services.
