Description
I’m recruiting on behalf of a leading algorithmic-trading research company that develops and operates high-frequency trading systems. This is an opportunity to join an experienced team of researchers and software engineers working on complex, data-intensive systems where performance, throughput and latency have a direct impact on real-world results. What you’ll do Design, develop and optimize advanced distributed trading systems with demanding throughput and latency requirements. Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation through production and CI/CD. Work closely with quantitative researchers to build scalable infrastructure and develop algorithms for modeling financial markets. Develop tools and simulators for identifying market opportunities and analyzing competitive dynamics. Optimize performance across software and hardware, including bit-level and low-level considerations. Manage and monitor on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments running data-intensive pipelines. Contribute directly to live operational systems in a complex, research-oriented environment. What you’ll need B.Sc. with honors in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Physics from a leading academic institution. Strong software engineering skills and experience developing scalable systems. Strong knowledge of C++, with hands-on development experience. A passion for large-scale data and data-driven decision-making. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Intellectual curiosity, independence, thoroughness and a high standard of execution. Advantages Experience designing and developing large-scale enterprise or distributed systems. Experience with low-latency systems, performance optimization or high-throughput network programming. Background in algorithmic trading, financial markets or research-oriented development.
