Customer & Project Manager – Electromechanical Components Manufacturing

A leading precision machining and manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Customer & Project Manager to lead customer relationships and manage complex manufacturing projects from quotation through delivery. Responsibilities Manage ongoing customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and expand existing activities. Lead projects within a manufacturing and industrial environment. Receive customer requirements, price projects, prepare quotations, and negotiate agreements through order closure. Take full ownership of projects from order receipt through final delivery. Build project plans, manage schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables. Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Technology. Monitor material availability, manage engineering changes, and resolve project bottlenecks. Support NPI (New Product Introduction) processes and transfer from development to production. Work closely with the production floor while interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Provide regular project status updates to customers and management, including risks and gap analysis. Lead multiple interfaces and maintain strong customer communication. Ensure project objectives are achieved while maintaining customer satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in project management within an industrial/manufacturing environment – Mandatory. Direct experience working with customers – Mandatory. Commercial experience including pricing, quotations, and contract negotiations – Mandatory. Technical knowledge in mechanics and precision machining – Mandatory. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings – Mandatory. Experience working closely with production teams and operational interfaces – Mandatory. Experience with SolidWorks – Significant advantage. Practical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer – Advantage. Experience working with defense industry customers – Significant advantage. Why Join Us?
