Our Team, Your Impact The Technology Department at the sterile manufacturing site is responsible for leading the core technological processes that support the production of sterile pharmaceutical products, from the introduction of new products through the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment at the site. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and leading a professional team of engineers and technologists, while maintaining ongoing interfaces with all relevant site functions to ensure high-quality, efficient manufacturing in compliance with the most stringent regulatory requirements. How You’ll Spend Your Day Manage the Technology Department, comprising engineers and technologists supporting sterile operations. Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and ensure successful implementation in sterile manufacturing. Own the characterization, design, and implementation of new equipment in accordance with product and operational requirements. Drive technological and process improvements to enhance manufacturing performance, quality, and operational efficiency. Manage and lead Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Change Controls, and critical work instructions, ensuring timely and high-quality closure. Lead cross-functional projects from concept and planning through full implementation on the production floor. Provide professional support and resolve complex technological and process-related challenges in a sterile manufacturing environment. Work in close collaboration with Engineering, Projects, Validation, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Maintenance, and MS&T functions. Conduct professional training, coaching, and development for new employees and technologists. Represent operations and the technology function during regulatory and customer audits, including presentation of processes, projects, and site improvement activities. Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout the product and process lifecycle. How your day will look like? You will start your morning by reviewing key events and processes from sterile manufacturing, supporting investigations and resolution of technological challenges raised from the production floor, and leading professional discussions with the team of technologists and engineers. Throughout the day, you will work with a broad range of site stakeholders, lead projects for the introduction of new products and new equipment, promote initiatives to improve existing processes, and participate in decision-making forums that directly impact site operations. In addition, you will manage CAPA activities and Change Controls, support trials and implementations on the production floor, provide professional guidance to the team, and serve as a key partner in ensuring the site’s compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. This is a high-impact role that combines people management, professional leadership, technological innovation, and work in a dynamic and challenging environment. The role provides an opportunity to directly influence the success of sterile operations and the supply of life-saving medicines to patients worldwide Your Skills And Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment Experience in sterile, aseptic, or biologics manufacturing environments is preferred. Proven experience in team leadership Proven experience in leading technical teams of engineers and production-support teams in a regulated environment. Strong understanding of GMP requirements Strong understanding of sterile manufacturing principles, aseptic processing, validation, investigations, CAPA, and Change Control processes is preferred.
