Additional information is available at www.asteralabs.com. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Silicon Technical Program Manager role based in Israel. The individual in this role coordinates complex silicon development programs from concept through production, ensuring alignment across architecture, design, verification, packaging, manufacturing, and software teams. Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining detailed project plans, managing technical risk, driving cross-functional issue resolution, and tracking milestones, deliverables, and dependencies. The role also involves leading program reviews, communicating status and trade-offs to senior leadership, and collaborating with customers and partners to align silicon features and schedules with product requirements. This position requires close engagement with engineering leads to optimize execution, maintain quality, and meet aggressive timelines for AI connectivity solutions. Qualifications Program and project management skills, including silicon program planning, schedule management, risk assessment, and cross-functional coordination. Technical expertise in semiconductor development, such as silicon architecture understanding, ASIC/SoC design lifecycle familiarity, and experience with high-speed connectivity or AI infrastructure domains. Strong communication and collaboration skills, including stakeholder management, executive-ready reporting, and ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority. Process and tools proficiency, such as using project management software, KPIs and dashboards, and structured execution methodologies (e.g., stage-gate, Agile/iterative practices). Proven experience driving complex hardware programs from definition through tape-out, validation, ramp, and production, preferably in networking, data center, or AI-related products. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work on-site in Israel and collaborate across global time zones with distributed engineering and customer teams. Experience interfacing with hyperscalers or large cloud customers, and familiarity with standards such as PCIe®, CXL®, Ethernet, or similar, is highly beneficial. Show more Show less
