Senior Controller

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Controller to join our Finance team and take ownership of the operational accounting for revenue, COGS, inventory and related finance-operation processes. Your day to day will look like: Own the monthly close for revenue, COGS and inventory, including reconciliations, reserves, cut-off procedures and gross-margin analysis. Implement and maintain revenue-recognition and contract-accounting policies, including contract and sales-order reviews, multi-component transactions, allocation of consideration, billing terms and deferred revenue. Work closely with Supply Chain throughout the inventory lifecycle Proactively identify the need for changes in accounting treatment, estimates or cost-allocation and capitalization methodologies as the business and operating model evolve. Support the development and implementation of new revenue streams and transaction structures by defining the required accounting, billing, tax, systems and control processes. Prepare transfer-pricing calculations and true-ups and coordinate the required intercompany billing support. Own US sales-tax reporting, including reconciliations and coordination with external advisors. Lead the company’s collection process, including AR aging, customer follow-up, dispute escalation, credit-risk monitoring and bad-debt analysis. Maintain the integrity of revenue, COGS, inventory, margin and AR data used by FP&A and communicate accounting developments that may affect budgets and forecasts. Support ad hoc projects , reports and analyses. Implement appropriate AI-enabled processes to improve efficiency, data quality, documentation and control execution while maintaining appropriate review and confidentiality controls. CPA (internship in bug 4) At least Seven years of relevant accounting experience, including significant responsibility for revenue accounting and monthly-close processes in a multinational complex environment. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and revenue-recognition principles, including ASC 606. Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is strongly preferred. Experience with US sales tax, transfer pricing, hardware and recurring-revenue models is an advantage. Proven ability to lead cross-functional process improvements and implement effective financial controls. Fluent written and verbal English.
