Senior Project Manager | Jerusalem Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a Senior Project Manager for a government organization in Jerusalem. The role includes end-to-end management of complex software and infrastructure projects involving multiple systems and interfaces, from initiation and planning through successful production deployment. Responsibilities : Leading, planning, tracking, and controlling complex software and infrastructure projects Leading multidisciplinary teams including developers, infrastructure professionals, QA engineers, system analysts, and information security specialists in a matrix environment Understanding system and infrastructure architecture and translating business requirements into technological specifications Performing high-level systems analysis in collaboration with architects and developers Managing cloud migration, integration, and environment implementation projects across Azure and GCP Managing cloud-related cost, information security, and performance considerations Leading Agile processes, managing project backlogs, sprint planning, risks, and bottlenecks Working with internal and external customers, vendors, and technology partners Communicating project status, managing risks, and developing solutions for project challenges Requirements : At least 4 years of experience as a Technology Project Manager in medium or large organizations Proven experience managing complex projects combining application development and technology infrastructure Proven hands-on experience in matrix management of multidisciplinary technology teams Strong architectural understanding with the ability to understand both high-level system architecture and technical details, including Microservices, APIs, complex integrations, and data flows In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience managing public or hybrid cloud projects, with an emphasis on Azure and GCP Strong infrastructure knowledge including servers, virtualization, containers such as Kubernetes or Docker, communication networks, information security, and operating systems Previous experience or proven ability in systems analysis, including requirements analysis, interface definition, and writing technological specification documents Extensive experience working daily with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including leading Daily meetings, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives Full proficiency with project and task management tools such as Monday, Azure DevOps, and Jira Show more Show less
