Terms of service
These terms apply when you use Scouter, whether as a visitor or with an account. They are short because the service is: an index of job postings published elsewhere, and a set of measurements about that index. Last updated 11 September 2026.
What the service is
Scouter collects open hi-tech and AI job postings in Israel from job boards, recruitment agencies and employers' own careers pages, and lets you search them. Every listing links to the original posting. Scouter is not an employer, a recruitment agency or a party to any hiring: it takes no application, holds no CV and forwards nothing to an employer. Applying, and everything that follows, happens between you and the employer on the employer's own terms.
Listings and their accuracy
Listings are collected automatically and republished as found. Some will be wrong or out of date: a role already filled, a location mis-read, a title that means something else at that company. Scouter does not verify a posting with the employer and makes no promise that any listing is accurate, current or genuine. Check the details on the employer's own page before you act on them.
A listing stays on the site for at most 60 days after it was found and is then deleted; its address answers "gone" afterwards rather than showing stale content. An employer or job board can ask for a posting to be corrected or removed at any time through the contact page.
Your account
You may create an account with an email address you control. Keep your password to yourself; what is done with your account is treated as done by you. One account per person.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes it together with your preferences, saved jobs and messages. Scouter may suspend or remove an account that is used to abuse the service, to scrape it, or to send unwanted email through it.
Acceptable use
Use the site as a person looking for, or hiring for, a job. Do not copy the index in bulk, crawl it faster than a person could read it, work around the rate of the feed and the public pages, probe it for weaknesses, or use it to send unsolicited messages. Do not misrepresent who you are when you write to us or post on behalf of an employer.
Content and rights
Each job posting belongs to the employer or job board that published it, and appears here under their terms. The index itself — the site, its search, its text and the hiring measurements — belongs to Scouter.
The market figures Scouter publishes are released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence: you may quote and reuse them, including commercially, if you credit Scouter and link to the page they came from. The listings themselves are not covered by that licence.
Scouter emails you only when you asked it to: a daily digest or an alert you subscribed to, and the messages needed to run your account, such as confirming your address or resetting your password. Every digest and alert carries an unsubscribe link that works without signing in.
Availability and changes
The service is provided as it is, free of charge, and may change or stop at any time. It is run on a best-effort basis with no promise of uninterrupted availability. Features, the sources collected and these terms may change; the current terms are always the ones on this page, and the date at the top says when they last did.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Scouter is not liable for loss or damage arising from the use of the site, from reliance on a listing or a figure published here, or from anything that happens between you and an employer. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and any dispute about them is for the competent courts in Israel. Questions about these terms, and any other request, go through the contact page.
