A market-leading DeepTech hardware and perception company pioneering advanced LiDAR sensing solutions and 3D perception platforms for automotive, smart mobility, defense & HLS, intelligent transportation systems, robotics, and airborne platforms. Operating with a world-class multidisciplinary engineering team, the firm bridges deep physical-layer sensing with low-level systems engineering. The office is located in Central Israel, operating on a hybrid model with one day working from home. Role Description- Serving as an Embedded Computer Vision Software Engineer, taking end-to-end ownership of the design, implementation, and optimization of real-time embedded software for edge vision modules. Bridging the gap between algorithm research and target hardware, analyzing architectural constraints, memory bandwidth, and execution latency to optimize pipelines on embedded processors. Implementing low-level, high-throughput perception pipelines in C/C++ running directly on edge devices, SoC architectures, and microcontrollers. Integrating advanced AI-assisted engineering tools and modern workflows to accelerate code generation, profiling, and quality validation. Conducting deep-level debugging, hardware-software integration, profiling, and root-cause failure analysis across embedded hardware platforms. Collaborating closely with Algorithm Developers, System Architects, and Hardware Engineers to deploy robust perception capabilities into safety-critical, production-grade systems. Requirements- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline – Mandatory (M.Sc. – Advantage) 5+ years of hands-on experience in Embedded Software Development in C and C++ – Mandatory Exceptional low-level debugging, memory profiling, and hardware-software integration capabilities – Mandatory Demonstrated hands-on proficiency with modern AI tooling and AI-assisted software development workflows – Mandatory Proven background in Computer Vision (CV), image processing, or edge machine learning deployment – Significant Advantage Practical familiarity with embedded processors, RTOS / embedded Linux environments, and hardware accelerators (e.g., DSPs, GPUs, or NPUs) – Significant Advantage Strong team player with high agency, structured analytical thinking, and a drive to solve complex low-level engineering challenges – Mandatory Show more Show less
